In 1990 I was a Residence
Director, opening a new home in Peabody. The women that I
supported had moved from institutions to their first home as
adults. The first Christmas in their new home was special for
them and for me. We made ornaments from pine cones and strung
popcorn. We all felt a great sense of comfort and joy. |
