    Vacation

    Vacation hours are based on monthly accrual. 

    Accrual after 6 month orientation period

    Less than 5 years Accrue at 1.25 day/month 3 Weeks / Year
    More than 5 years Accrue at 1.67 day/month 4 Weeks / Year
    More than 10 years Accrue at 2.08 day/month 5 Weeks / Year
    Sick Time:

    1/2 Day/month accrued to a max. of 40 days based on years worked

    Vacation Cash-Out:

    After six months of service, employees are eligible to cash out a portion of their accrued vacation time.  Vacation Cash Out request must be made in increments of at least 40 hours. 

    Vacation Cash Out request forms must be submitted directly to the Payroll Manager at least 10 working days in advance of the pay cycle in which it will be received.  Vacation Cash Out is available at the following maximum amounts:

    Years Of Service Annual Accrual  Maximum Cash Out
    Less than 5 years  3 weeks Up to one week (40 hours)
    Five to Ten Years 4 weeks Up to two weeks (80 hours)
    Ten or more years 5 weeks Up to 3 weeks (120 hours)
     
    Part time employees who have prorated vacation time, may cash out their vacation at the prorated schedule.   Employees are eligible to use the Vacation Cash Out benefit once  in each calendar year.
